Force Approve Epd

Force-approve an EPD in a single call — non-prod, org-admin only.

This collapses the full verification dance (assign verifier → start review → approve with force_status) into one call so developers can drive an EPD end-to-end from an API key. It exists specifically for the API Quickstart flow.

Gates:

  • guard_force_non_prod: in production this endpoint always returns 400 regardless of caller — there is no escape hatch.
  • Caller must either be Django staff or hold an admin role in at least one organization (is_org_admin).

Behaviour:

  • Reuses the EPD's active verifier assignment if one exists, or creates a new one with the caller as the verifier (the independence checks on verifier_assign are bypassed via force=True).
  • Calls the review approval path with the provided force_status (defaults to "approved") so every downstream gate — active-assignment, checklist sign-off, and self-approval independence — is skipped.
